︎Alejandra Atalah is a curator and cultural manager born in Viña del Mar, Chile (1984). She moved to Berlin in 2009, where she studied Kulturwissenschaft (Cultural Studies) and Erziehungswissenschaft (Education) at Humboldt University in Berlin. She later specialized in Cultural Financing (HU) and Curatorial Studies (UDK), working independently on the conceptualization and fundraising of artistic and cultural projects that promote the visibility and integration of immigrant artists from various disciplines in Germany.
She currently serves as the director of Lakberlin, an initiative that provides information and professional development tools for immigrant artists in Germany.

She also works as a cultural funding consultant for ABC Kultur, a program led by Sorora e.V., which aims to disseminate resources and tools for immigrant artists in Germany. She collaborates closely with international artists to secure funding and develop projects that challenge traditional narratives in the European art scene.
Her curatorial practice emphasizes decolonial perspectives and intersectional feminism, focusing on amplifying underrepresented voices. Her projects often combine visual arts, performance, and interdisciplinary research.
In addition, she regularly participates in international conferences on migration and art, contributing to debates about the role of culture in social transformation, highlighting her contribution to promoting cultural diversity and empowering migrant communities in the European art world.
